Undercurrent:
Undercurrent is a contemporary group exhibition by ArtFlow Studio Ltd, held at The Batsford Gallery, London. Taking its name from unseen yet powerful forces, the show explores the subtle tensions and invisible currents that shape our emotions, identities, and relationships.
Featuring 21 artists from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds, the exhibition presents works in installation, video, painting, sculpture, textiles, and photography. Rather than imposing a single narrative, Undercurrent invites viewers into a space of quiet friction, where each piece converses with the others in unexpected ways.
Through themes of memory, the body, folklore, and psychological landscapes, the exhibition encourages audiences to slow down, notice what is unspoken, and experience the shifts that occur beneath the surface.
